The Ridge is a Living-Learning Environment, made especially for students!
We want your college student to be successful throughout their career at their college of choice. They need a good foundation and support to gain this success. At The Ridge, we want to help support their productivity by giving them a computer lab at their fingertips. We want to keep them healthy with a 24 hour fitness center. We also want to help them relax by giving them a clubhouse with billiards, resort style pool for lounging, and events to meet other students. The Ridge meets every need that your student will have while in college so they can achieve what they came here for in an enjoyable atmosphere.
Individual leasing means peace of mind for you. Your financial responsibility is only for your student’s space unlike many apartments or rental houses where a joint lease is signed. If a roommate transfers to another school or moves out of The Ridge for any reason, you do not have to worry about having to cover their portion of rent. This is just another reason why The Ridge is your student’s best housing option!

The Ridge is a fully-furnished community, saving you money! Each student will have a full-sized bed, as well as a dresser, desk and desk chair. The living room comes fully furnished with a couch, loveseat, end table, coffee table and entertainment stand. Dining rooms are equipped with a dining table and chairs. You will not need to purchase or move any furniture!
If your student does not have a roommate in mind, we can find them one! We will have them fill out a Roommate Matching sheet so we know what they are looking for in a roommate. During the summer, we will spend weeks looking at these preferences and matching them up with the best person we can find!
Resident Events to Keep Students Involved
While the main focus of your student’s college career will be about graduating and getting a fulfilling job, they also need to have fun along the way. At The Ridge, your student will create life-long relationships and connections that will make them even more successful. The only way to be released from your contract without penalty mid-lease term is to find a resident replacement. The replacement must fulfill all of the same rental criteria including student status, lease guaranty, background & credit checks. There is also a resident replacement fee. Call the office for more details.
Is there insurance coverage in the event of a fire, theft or natural causes? Does my lease provide coverage for my belongings?

We highly recommend that residents contact a homeowner's insurance agent to learn more about renter's insurance.
Do you allow pets?
Yes, but we require a pet addendum signed by all residents in the apartment and a pet deposit of $350 ( $150 refundable ) and a non-refundable, monthly pet fee of $5. We do have a 35lb weight limit, with no aggressive breeds or exotic pets allowed.

Rent installments are always due on the first of the month and are considered late beginning on the fourth.
Do you have a roommate matching system?
Yes. While The Ridge can never guarantee a "perfect match," all residents fill out a profile to help us put together the likeliest compatible matches. Remember; the sooner you sign your lease and the more thoroughly you fill out your profile, the more options you have and the better chance of us finding someone that works well with you.
What is included in my rent?
Your rent includes Cable with HBO, Internet, Water, and Electricity (with a cap). You will also have access to our amenities, which include: free use of our tanning beds, computer lab, fitness center, game room with billiards, resort style pool, volleyball and basketball courts.
What does it mean to have an individual dorm housing contract?
Individual leasing means that each person is only responsible for their portion of the unit lease or bed space. If your roommate ends up not coming back for the spring semester, you’re not responsible for their payment.
